Puzzle Center is a free application made by Okrim as a personal project.
The application features the following functions:----------TIMER-----------The timer utiliy lets users measure solve times on various puzzles by category.
It also features an inspection timer.
All measured times are saved in the apps database and analysed to create statistics and records about the solves.----------RECORDS-----------The application keeps track of the TOP 3 solve times of each category, along with the date of the particular solve.
---------STATISTICS---------Puzzle Center features a database-backed statistics page that analyses your solve times and shows useful statistics such as your personal best, average of 5, average of 12.---------TUTORIALS---------The application features categorized tutorials for the most popular twisty puzzles such as the 2x2, 3x3, 4x4 magic cubes as well as some other, more advanced puzzles.The tutorials aim to provide algorithms enough for a good solve speed, but not suitable for competition-grade solving.
This is the reason why there is no PLL on the 3x3 page for example.
Part of the aim was to use the least amount of algorithms possible in a way that can still achieve a good solve speed.
